Yubiso Onsen

Yubiso Onsen—the Hot Spring Cliff—takes its name from the dramatic rock face or escarpment from which the spring's sulfurous thermal waters emerge, a naming convention in Japanese onsen geography where the geological feature of the water's emergence point becomes the defining name of the spring itself.
