Ayer Hangat Village

Ayer Hangat Village, whose name means hot water in Malay, is a natural hot spring attraction on the northern coast of Langkawi island in Kedah state, Malaysia, where chloride-rich geothermal waters from a submarine volcanic source are channelled into foot-bathing and immersion pools set within a traditional Malay village environment. The site, designed as a cultural tourism experience, combines the therapeutic tradition of Malay hot spring bathing with demonstrations of traditional crafts, cuisine, and village architecture, making it one of the most culturally contextualised thermal experiences in Malaysia.
