Arzni Mineral Springs

Arzni Mineral Springs in Kotayk Province, Armenia, are a celebrated bicarbonate-rich mineral spring resort in the dramatic Hrazdan River gorge twenty kilometres north of Yerevan, where naturally carbonated waters with recognised cardiovascular and gastrointestinal therapeutic properties have been bottled commercially under the Arzni brand since the Soviet era and remain one of Armenia's most trusted and widely consumed mineral water names. The resort sanatorium complex, established during the Soviet period and still operating as a therapeutic destination, occupies a strikingly beautiful position above the Hrazdan gorge whose forested walls and rushing river provide exceptional walking routes between bathing sessions that physicians have long recommended as complementary to the mineral cure.
