Sonnentherme Lutzmannsburg

Lutzmannsburg Therme is a significant thermal resort complex in the Burgenland village of Lutzmannsburg, close to the Hungarian border in the flat, sun-drenched wine and lake landscape of Austria's easternmost province. The calcium-rich thermal mineral waters, drawn from the deep geothermal aquifer system that also feeds the famous Hungarian thermal spas across the border, feed a large outdoor and indoor pool complex that is one of the most popular thermal destinations in Austria's Lake Neusiedl region. The Esterhazy Therme in Lutzmannsburg — named for the great Esterhazy princely family whose Schloss Esterhazy and musical heritage (Haydn spent 30 years in their service) define the character of nearby Eisenstadt — provides a comfortable and well-equipped thermal bathing landscape in a distinctly Pannonian atmosphere.
