Brigerbad is a thermal pool complex in the Raron district of the Valais canton, situated in the Rhone valley between Sierre and Brig at 680 metres altitude, where bicarbonate-rich spring waters are maintained in a spectacular outdoor thermal complex at temperatures between 28 and 42 degrees Celsius. The Valais is the driest and sunniest of all Swiss cantons, receiving the most annual sunshine in Switzerland, and the Brigerbad outdoor pools set against the backdrop of the southern Valais Alps — including the Bernese and Pennine ranges — offer some of the most scenically dramatic thermal bathing in Switzerland.
