Qiongzhong Hot Springs is situated in Qiongzhong Li and Miao Autonomous County in the central highlands of Hainan Island, the mountainous heartland where the Li people have maintained their mountain farming, hunting, and weaving traditions for millennia amid the tropical rainforest that covers the elevated interior of China's second-largest island.
