Lincang Hot Spring Resort

Lincang Hot Spring Resort is a geothermal wellness facility in Lincang City, Yunnan Province, a border city adjacent to Myanmar in the southwestern corner of China's most ethnically diverse province where the Wa, De'ang, Blang, and Lahu minority peoples maintain distinctive cultural practices in the subtropical forests and mountains of the Lancang (Mekong) River watershed as it flows southward toward mainland Southeast Asia. Lincang is one of China's important Pu'er tea-producing regions and also hosts one of the world's great tea diversity sites at Mengku, where ancient wild tea trees thousands of years old grow in the primeval tea forests that represent the ancestral homeland of the Camellia sinensis plant species from which all the world's tea traditions are derived.
