Since 2004, it has been situated in the Cargolifter-Luftschiffhalle, considered the world's largest covered hall. With 1.15 million visitors, Tropical Islands was the second most visited water park in Germany in 2022, after Therme Erding, and the third in Europe, along with Siam Park.
