Thermal Staatsbad Wildbad

Thermal Staatsbad Wildbad is one of Germany's most historically significant thermal bath complexes, operating in Bad Wildbad in the northern Black Forest of Baden-Württemberg, where thermal spring water emerges at a constant 38 degrees Celsius from granite bedrock and has been used for therapeutic bathing since documented records begin in the 14th century, with the bathhouse tradition stretching back even further. The magnificent Palais Thermal, built in 1844 in the Italian Renaissance style, remains the architectural centerpiece of the spa complex, a grand columned hall where visitors bathe in the same mineral-rich waters that once healed the suffering of European nobility and their courts.
