Aguas Termales de Ledesma

Ledesma is a medieval walled town in the province of Salamanca in Castile and Leon, perched on a dramatic granite promontory in a spectacular meander of the Tormes river, whose 15th-century walls, Renaissance palaces, and Gothic collegiate church make it one of the best-preserved and least-known medieval towns in western Spain. Its bicarbonate thermal spring waters, known since Roman times when Ledesma was the Roman settlement of Bletisa, filter through the ancient Precambrian granite of the Salamanca plateau, producing a naturally soft and therapeutic water used for musculoskeletal and dermatological conditions.
