La Malou in the Orb valley of the Hérault département is a small but characterful thermal resort in the volcanic landscape of the Monts du Caroux, whose naturally sparkling bicarbonate-calcium-ferruginous springs at 25°C have been prized since the 19th century within a long thermal tradition.
