Çiftehan Termal is a thermal spa at Çiftehan in Niğde Province, south-central Turkey, known since antiquity when the site was called Aquae Calidae, "hot waters." Set along the historic pass through the Taurus Mountains, it draws on naturally hot, sulfurous mineral springs long used for bathing and therapy. The mountainous setting and ancient heritage make it one of central Anatolia's notable thermal destinations.

Insider tip — Çiftehan Termal (çiftehan = double caravanserai) is a thermal resort in the Taurus Mountains, on the northern slope, between Niğde and Ulukışla. Its sulfurous springs (45-52°C) emerge in a spectacular mountain setting at 1,500 m altitude. The waters have been known since Roman times for treating skin and rheumatic conditions.
