Santagua Termas de Chachimbiro is a thermal complex in Urcuquí, Imbabura Province, Ecuador. Its sulfurous thermal water reaches around 45°C with a pH of 6.5. The site offers indoor and outdoor baths, a sauna and massage treatments, at the foot of the Ecuadorian Andes.
Insider tip — Deep hydrothermal volcanic aquifer — the only confirmed deep-source spring in Ecuador. Water rich in chlorides, iron sulfides, magnesium, copper, fluorine, and iodine. Choose pools at 55°C, 45°C, or 35°C. Offers mud therapy, ozone therapy, and hydromassage. Located within the Imbabura Geopark UNESCO site.
