Lore Lindu Hot Springs

Lore Lindu Hot Springs are situated within or near the Lore Lindu National Park in Central Sulawesi, one of Indonesia's most biodiverse protected areas and home to the mysterious megalithic statues and stone jars of the Bada Valley, whose origins and purpose remain poorly understood and have fascinated archaeologists since their discovery by Dutch colonial researchers in the early 20th century. The park shelters a remarkable array of endemic Sulawesi wildlife including babirusa (pig-deer), dwarf buffaloes (anoa), Sulawesi bear cuscus, and hundreds of endemic bird species found nowhere else in the world.
