Cimanggu Hot Spring in Cipanas, West Java, draws bicarbonate-rich geothermal waters from the volcanic system of the Gede-Pangrango massif at around 1,000 meters, just inside the boundary of Mount Gede-Pangrango National Park where gibbons and hornbills inhabit the montane forest canopy.
