Ranca Upas in Ciwidey, Bandung Regency, West Java, is a highland camping and nature reserve at 2,100 metres altitude on the volcanic Patuha mountain complex, where sulfated and sodium-rich thermal springs emerge in a landscape of Javanese pine forest, volcanic lakes, and free-ranging Javan deer herds.
