Tezu Hot Springs

Tezu Hot Springs are situated in Tezu in Lohit District of Arunachal Pradesh, a district named after the Lohit River — a major Brahmaputra tributary that descends from Tibet through a dramatic mountain gorge before widening into the fertile valley where Tezu serves as the administrative and commercial center of this southeastern Arunachal district. Lohit District is famous among botanists for the extraordinary Dibang-Lohit biodiversity corridor, recognized as one of the world's biodiversity hotspots whose intact forest cover connecting the Eastern Himalaya to the Indo-Burma transition zone shelters some of South Asia's rarest and most threatened plant and animal species.
