Hoffell Farm Hot Pots in the Hornafjörður district of southeastern Iceland are a set of four small outdoor geothermal tubs fed by naturally warm volcanic spring water at a working sheep farm, set with views across Iceland's largest glacier, Vatnajökull, whose ice cap dominates the horizon in what is perhaps the most dramatic glacial panorama available from any hot pot in the world. The tubs are maintained by the Hoffell farmstead, one of Iceland's longest-continously inhabited farms, as a simple visitor facility that embodies the Icelandic tradition of making geothermal resources available to travellers in the most natural and unpretentious way possible. Bathing in Hoffell's warm tubs while watching the glacier-capped Öræfajökull (Iceland's highest peak at 2,110 m) reflect in the evening light is an experience of exceptional natural grandeur in the southeastern Icelandic wilderness.
