Specchio di Venere, meaning Mirror of Venus, is a striking volcanic crater lake on the island of Pantelleria in the Sicilian Strait, filled with warm bicarbonate-rich thermal mud and water celebrated since antiquity for their cosmetic and therapeutic properties.
