Relaxing — deep, immediate muscle release.
Rich in active gases or metals — a strong mineral character.
Soft water — natural, classic buoyancy.
Tucked in a small village about ten kilometres north of Umm Qais, the Al Hemma (Al-Himmah) hot springs were already favoured by Roman dignitaries and travellers, who came seeking relaxation after long journeys. The Al-Hemma baths have been used since ancient times, and it is said that visitors once travelled great distances to enjoy these waters, prized since the Roman era.
A short distance away, the Ma'in area (Hammamat Ma'in), between Madaba and the Dead Sea, gathers around sixty hot springs and waterfalls with a similar mineral composition, a site frequented since Roman and Byzantine times. Together, these Jordanian springs reflect a long regional tradition of thermal wellness across civilisations.
