Ichinomiya Onsen Kumamoto

Ichinomiya Onsen is situated in the Aso caldera region of Kumamoto Prefecture, near the ancient Aso Shrine — one of Japan's oldest shrines, dedicated to the deities of the Aso volcano and surrounded by sacred grasslands maintained by traditional controlled burning (noyaki) for over a thousand years.
