Hell's Gate Steam Vents and Spa is a geothermal complex within Hell's Gate National Park near Naivasha in Kenya's Central Rift Valley, where siliceous and bicarbonate geothermal waters and dramatic steam vents create a landscape of visceral volcanic energy in one of Africa's most accessible national parks. The gorges of Hell's Gate, carved by ancient lake overflow and volcanic activity, expose layers of ancient lava flows and provide habitat for lammergeier vultures, Maasai giraffes, and zebras in a setting that inspired the landscapes of Disney's The Lion King.
