Aguas Termales El Manatial

Aguas Termales El Manantial is a natural geothermal spring in Nicaragua associated with the volcanic geology of the Central American volcanic arc that runs along the Pacific coast of this lake-studded country. Nicaragua's thermal springs, concentrated near the volcanic chain from Cosigüina in the northwest to Maderas on Ometepe Island, reflect the intense subduction zone tectonics of the Pacific-Caribbean plate boundary.
