Bhurung Tatopani is a village development committee in Myagdi District in the Dhaulagiri Zone of western-central Nepal. At the time of the 1991 Nepal census it had a population of 843 people living in 182 individual households. Singa Tatopani Kunda in Myagdi district is known within a long thermal tradition. There is a local custom of taking regular baths in the pool of hot water of 50 degrees Celsius over the course of a week, a thermal practice associated with relaxation and bodily comfort. The water in the pool smells like birch bark.
