Aguas Termales de San Lucas

Aguas Termales de San Lucas is a natural hot spring site in the Chiriquí Province of western Panama, where bicarbonate-rich geothermal waters emerge in the highland coffee-growing landscape of the Chiriquí Highlands near the Costa Rican border — one of Central America's most biodiverse and scenically beautiful mountain regions, home to the highest peak in Panama (Volcán Barú, 3,474 m) and the globally important Amistad International Park. The springs provide therapeutic bicarbonate bathing in a cool mountain environment at altitude, particularly prized after hiking in the surrounding cloud forests that protect extraordinary bird diversity including the resplendent quetzal and dozens of endemic highland species.
