Red Rock Hot Spring

Red Rock Hot Spring is a natural ferruginous thermal spring in Valencia municipality, Negros Oriental Province, on the island of Negros in the Philippine Visayas, where iron-rich volcanic waters colour the surrounding rocks and pool surfaces a distinctive reddish-brown and provide therapeutic mineral bathing in the forested highland landscape above Valencia town. The springs are a popular destination for residents of the nearby Dumaguete City — the provincial capital of Negros Oriental and home to Silliman University, the Philippines' first Protestant university founded in 1901 — who combine hot spring bathing with the mountain and coastal attractions of the province.
