Geotermia Turek is a geothermal energy and thermal water project in Turek, a city in the Greater Poland region of central Poland, where deep geothermal drilling has tapped into naturally heated groundwater from the Mesozoic aquifers that underlie the Polish lowlands. Poland has been developing its geothermal resources systematically since the 1990s, and Geotermia Turek represents the modern face of this effort — combining the extraction of geothermal water for district heating with the development of thermal bathing facilities for the local community and wellness tourism. The project contributes to Poland's growing reputation as a geothermal wellness destination in Central Europe.
