Băile Felix, located just 8 kilometres from the city of Oradea in Bihor county, western Romania, is the country's largest thermal spa complex, drawing on calcium-rich artesian thermal waters that maintain remarkable natural stability — the pools stay warm year-round and support a unique ecosystem including the Nymphaea lotus thermalis, a species of tropical water lily found nowhere else in the world outside Egypt and these Romanian thermal pools.
