Bo Nam Ron (Xayaboury)

Bo Nam Ron in Xayaboury is a natural hot spring site in the Lampang Province area of northern Thailand near the Laos border in the Xayaboury region, where bicarbonate-rich thermal waters emerge in the forested mountains of the Greater Mekong subregion at the cultural crossroads between Thai and Lao mountain cultures. The springs are used by local farming and forest communities on both sides of the Mekong River border zone as traditional therapeutic and ritual bathing sites, reflecting the shared cultural heritage of the borderland peoples of Lan Na and Laos.
