Complejo Termal Dayman is one of Uruguay's most celebrated and visited thermal complexes, located in Salto, the country's second-largest city, where sulphurous Guaraní Aquifer geothermal water at around 45°C feeds an enormous outdoor thermal park that draws hundreds of thousands of Argentine, Brazilian, and Uruguayan visitors annually. The complex, among the largest in South America, combines therapeutic sulphurous soaking pools with recreational water facilities in a landscaped parkland setting on the edge of Salto city. The city of Salto's vibrant cultural life, its position on the Uruguay River, and the thermal heritage of the Dayman area have made it the undisputed thermal tourism capital of South America.
