Therefore, the station is alternatively known as Fujiyunosato・Hinōnoyu-Onsen Kanada Station .

Insider tip — Nichio no Yu Onsen in the Fukuchi region of Fukuoka prefecture lies in the Chikuho coalfield landscape — a region whose 20th-century coal-mining heritage shaped the industrial development of Kyushu before the mines closed in the 1970s. The springs serve a quiet rural area in the former coal towns of central Fukuoka, where the post-industrial countryside, the historic Kanada Station railway heritage, and the traditional country onsen culture combine in a region rebuilding its identity beyond its mining past.
