In the municipality of Oliva, within the Marjal de Pego-Oliva natural park, Font Salada — also known as Ullal del Burro — is a natural underground spring close to the Mediterranean coast. Its waters, rich in sulphurous salts along with magnesium, calcium and sodium, hold an almost constant temperature of roughly 21 to 25°C year-round, making it a pleasant bathing spot even in winter.

Insider tip — Font Salada rises in the coastal lowlands near Oliva, just a few kilometers from the Mediterranean beaches of the Costa Blanca. The bicarbonate spring has a long tradition of curative use among locals, and the surrounding orange and carob groves lend a distinctly Valencian character. The spring is at its most tranquil in the early morning, when the scent of citrus blossoms mingles with the mineral air.
