Located in Saint-Paul-lès-Dax at 967 rue René Loustalot, by the shores of Lake Christus, Thermes des Chênes takes its name from the oak grove surrounding it, which sets the tone for the whole place: calm, shade and slowed-down time. The adjoining residence, with 106 apartments of 40 sqm including five family units, lets guests stay on site throughout a typical three-week cure.

The establishment offers conventional rheumatology and phlebology cures, along with evening cures adapted to professional schedules and five-day mini-cures. Like the other facilities of the Thermes Adour group, it draws on Dax's mineral waters and péloïde, the local mud made from Adour river silt.

Insider tip — The Thermes des Chênes are part of the great thermal tradition of Dax, the French capital of thermal rheumatology. The sulphurous water emerges at 38°C and is recognized for its remarkable anti-inflammatory properties. Book on weekdays outside the summer season to enjoy more personalized treatments in a verdant setting typical of the Landes thermal baths.
