Termales Tajumbina

Termales Tajumbina is a thermal spring site near La Cruz in the Nariño department of southern Colombia, where geothermal waters emerge from the volcanic terrain of the Colombian Massif — the great Andean watershed from which the Cauca, Magdalena, Patía, and Amazon tributaries originate — in one of the most geologically dynamic regions of the northern Andes. The Nariño department straddles the Colombian-Ecuadorian border and encompasses active volcanoes, high-altitude páramo ecosystems, and indigenous Pastos communities with deep traditions of relationship with the land and its hot springs. The thermal waters of Tajumbina offer a natural bathing experience rooted in the ancestral thermal culture of Colombia's southwestern Andean communities.
