Baños Veracruz

Baños Veracruz is a bathing establishment serving the Mexican coastal and cultural tradition of communal public bathing, taking its name from the state of Veracruz — one of Mexico's most historically and culturally significant coastal states, where the first Spanish landing by Hernán Cortés in 1519 established the gateway through which European bathing culture entered the Americas alongside the indigenous Mesoamerican temazcal and natural spring traditions already flourishing in the pre-Columbian landscape.
