Borjomi Mineral Resort

Borjomi Mineral Resort is a spa and wellness facility in Borjomi, a small Georgian spa town in the Samtskhe-Javakheti region whose globally famous carbonated mineral water has been bottled and exported since the 1850s when Russian Tsarist forces discovered the springs and the Romanov imperial family established their summer residence at Likani Palace above the mineral spring valley, transforming Borjomi from a remote Caucasian gorge into one of the Russian Empire's most fashionable summer resorts and eventually into the most internationally recognized brand of the entire Soviet bloc.
