The thermal establishment sits at around 500 meters elevation in the Apennines, surrounded by the protected landscape of the Simbruini and Ernici mountains. The carbonated waters at 38°C are prized for digestive treatments and the spa offers classical Italian balneotherapy courses. The medieval hilltop village itself is a perfectly preserved example of Abruzzo vernacular architecture.
