Tičići Thermal Water (Tičići termalna voda) is a natural geothermal spring in the Istrian peninsula, a region shared between Croatia and Italy where the historical interpenetration of Venetian, Italian, Croatian, and Austro-Hungarian cultures has created one of the Mediterranean's most distinctive cultural landscapes. The spring, in the karst limestone geology of Istria, provides mineral-rich warm water used locally for bathing in the bicarbonate-rich thermal tradition typical of the Pannonian-Dinaric geothermal zone. The surrounding Istrian landscape of truffle woods, wine vineyards, Roman amphitheatres, and hilltop medieval towns overlooking the Adriatic provides an extraordinarily rich backdrop for this geothermal site.
