Omura Onsen Nagasaki

Omura Onsen Nagasaki is located in Omura City, Nagasaki Prefecture, on the shores of Omura Bay — one of Japan's most sheltered and biologically rich enclosed bays, designated as a bird sanctuary for its internationally significant migratory waterfowl populations and known for the cherry blossom festival at Omura Park, one of the most celebrated sakura viewing spots in Kyushu. The chloride-rich hot spring waters of Omura draw from the coastal geothermal activity beneath the bay's shoreline, providing warm mineral baths appreciated during the cooler months when steam rising from outdoor pools mirrors the morning mist over the bay's calm enclosed waters.
