Omir Soo, meaning source of life in Kazakh, is a thermal spa facility in the Shonzhy area of southeastern Kazakhstan, where oligomineral springs are used in a wellness centre offering balneological treatments rooted in the intersection of Central Asian folk medicine and Soviet therapeutic traditions. The spring name encapsulates the deep cultural significance of water sources in Kazakh nomadic heritage, where springs were considered sacred and life-giving in the vast semi-arid steppe landscape.
