Oulmes Mineral Springs

Oulmes Mineral Springs is a celebrated natural mineral spring source in the Middle Atlas region of Morocco, where naturally carbonated bicarbonate waters have been commercially bottled as Sidi Ali and Oulmes mineral water since the early 20th century and are today among Morocco's most widely consumed mineral water brands, consumed across the Maghreb and exported internationally. The springs emerge at the foot of the Tarmilat plateau in the Khouribga-Oulmes area, a landscape of cedar forests, agricultural valleys, and Berber communities in the transitional zone between the Middle Atlas and the coastal plains. Beyond their commercial importance, the Oulmes springs have been associated with a local spa tradition where visitors drink the naturally sparkling bicarbonate water for digestive health benefits, consistent with the long European and North African tradition of drinking mineral water cures at the source.
