Termas de São Vicente

Termas de São Vicente is a thermal spa in the civil parish of Termas de São Vicente in the municipality of Penafiel, Oporto district, northern Portugal, where sulfurous bicarbonated carbonated mineral springs emerge in the granite and schist terrain of the Tâmega River valley in the Entre-Douro-e-Minho region — one of Portugal's most densely populated and culturally rich northern provinces — whose Romanesque churches, schist-paved villages, and Vinho Verde vineyards create a backdrop of extraordinary heritage depth for the thermal bathing tradition.
