Raksawarin Hot Spring

Raksawarin Hot Spring in Ranong, Thailand's wettest province with over 5,000 millimetres of annual rainfall, is the showpiece geothermal park of Thailand's southern peninsula. The springs emerge at temperatures approaching 65°C from granite bedrock, with exceptionally pure sodium bicarbonate water that has been filtered through the porous rock over centuries of rainfall. The Raksawarin Thermal Park channels these hot waters through beautifully landscaped public gardens into foot-bathing pools and private therapeutic bathing rooms, making it one of the most accessible and pleasant thermal experiences in Southeast Asia.
