Thermes de Skhidnytsia

Skhidnytsia is a small mountain spa resort in the Lviv Oblast of the Ukrainian Carpathians, set in a forested valley at 500 metres altitude, where over 30 individual mineral springs of bicarbonate and chloride composition emerge within a 2-kilometre radius, each with its own distinct chemical character and therapeutic indication. The mineral springs of Skhidnytsia have been used since the early 20th century for treatment of digestive, hepatic, and urological conditions, and the Soviet-era sanatorium network has been progressively upgraded into modern wellness facilities serving primarily Ukrainian and Eastern European guests. The UNESCO-listed historic city of Lviv — with its extraordinary Austro-Hungarian and Renaissance architecture, coffee culture, and chocolate workshops — is just 100 kilometres away, making Skhidnytsia an ideal combination of Carpathian mountain mineral cure and one of Central Europe's most culturally rich urban centres.
