Joyful Journey Hot Springs is located near Moffat in the San Luis Valley of Colorado, a vast high-altitude grassland basin at over 2,300 metres elevation enclosed by the Sangre de Cristo Mountains to the east and the San Juan Mountains to the west — one of the largest enclosed mountain valleys in the world and one of the most spiritually significant landscapes in the American West, sacred to the ancestral Ute and Tewa peoples.
