The Emirler Baths in Bilecik District are an Ottoman hammam serving one of the communities in Bilecik Province, a historically charged region in northwestern Turkey associated with the founding of the Ottoman state. The town of Bilecik and its surrounding villages contain a disproportionate density of early Ottoman monuments given their role in the first century of Ottoman expansion from Söğüt. The hammam served generations of local residents as a gathering point for hygiene and social interaction in the heart of the original Ottoman homeland.

Insider tip — Emirler Hammam (of the emirs/princes) in Bilecik, a few meters from the Süleyman Paşa Hammam. These two neighboring hammams attest to the importance of Bilecik as a political and commercial center in early Ottoman times. 'Emirler' refers to the military nobility of the emirs who surrounded Orhan and his successors in this founding region of the Ottoman state.
