Insider tip — The Kurpark in Baden bei Wien is one of Austria's most celebrated spa parks, a romantic landscape of rose gardens, pavilions, and thermal promenades where Habsburg-era aristocrats and Viennese bourgeoisie strolled between bathing cures. The calcium-sulfate springs feeding the park's facilities have a gentle mineralisation ideal for sensitive skin. Summer concerts in the Kurpark's open-air theater combine beautifully with an evening thermal soak nearby. The park is freely accessible and beautifully lit after dark.
