Cleopatra's Bath in Siwa Oasis, Egypt, is an ancient natural spring pool set within the salt lake and palm grove landscape of one of Egypt's most remote and culturally distinctive oasis communities, traditionally associated with the legendary Egyptian queen who reportedly bathed in its waters. The spring, properly called Ain Cleopatra, issues from a circular stone pool of unknown antiquity and has been used for communal bathing in Siwa for centuries — though male-only bathing norms mean the attribution to Cleopatra carries a certain mythological irony.
