Baw Noi Hot Springs

Baw Noi Hot Springs is a natural thermal site in Muang Kham district of Xieng Khouang Province, northern Laos, where chloride-rich springs emerge near the small market town of Muang Kham in an area known as one of the most concentrated thermal spring zones in the country. The springs have been developed into bathing facilities serving both local Lao families seeking therapeutic immersion and travellers passing through the Phonsavan and Muang Kham corridor, which connects the Plain of Jars to the Vietnamese border. The chloride mineral composition of the water, warming and saline, provides effective balneological treatment for joint and skin conditions consistent with the humid highland climate of Xieng Khouang's highland valleys.
