Vieng Xai Hot Spring

Vieng Xai Hot Spring is a natural thermal site near the historic cave town of Vieng Xai in Houaphanh Province, northeastern Laos, where bicarbonate springs emerge close to one of Southeast Asia's most remarkable and little-known historical sites — the network of limestone caves in which the Pathet Lao leadership lived, governed, and survived throughout a decade of American aerial bombardment in the 1960s and 70s.
